Written by a Pakistani Journalist --- worth a read guys

Here's what is happening in India :

The two Ambani brothers can buy 100 percent of every company listed on
the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) and would still be left with $30
billion to spare. The four richest Indians can buy up all goods and
services produced over a year by 169 million Pakistanis and still be
left with $60 billion to spare. The four richest Indians are now
richer than the forty richest Chinese.

In November, Bombay Stock Exchange's benchmark Sensex flirted with
20,000 points. As a consequence, Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries
became a $100 billion company (the entire KSE is capitalized at $65
billion). Mukesh owns 48 percent of Reliance.

In November, comes Neeta's birthday. Neeta turned forty-four three
weeks ago. Look what she got from her husband as her birthday
present:
A sixty-million dollar jet with a custom fitted master bedroom,
bathroom with mood lighting, a sky bar, entertainment cabins,
satellite television, wireless communication and a separate cabin with
game consoles. Neeta is Mukesh Ambani's wife, and Mukesh is not India
's richest but the second richest.

Mukesh is now building his new home, Residence Antillia (after a
mythical, phantom island somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean ). At a cost
of $1 billion this would be the most expensive home on the face of the
planet. At 173 meters tall Mukesh's new family residence, for a family
of six, will be the equivalent of a 60-storeyed building. The first
six floors are reserved for parking. The seventh floor is for car
servicing and maintenance. The eighth floor houses a mini-theatre.
Then there's a health club, a gym and a swimming pool. Two floors are
reserved for Ambani family's guests. Four floors above the guest
floors are family floors all with a superb view of the Arabian Sea .
On top of everything are three helipads. A staff of 600 is expected to
care for the family and their family home.

In 2004, India became the 3rd most attractive foreign direct
investment destination. Pakistan wasn't even in the top 25 countries.
In 2004, the United Nations, the representative body of 192 sovereign
member states, had requested the Election Commission of India to
assist the UN in the holding elections in Al Jumhuriyah al Iraqiyah
and Dowlat-e Eslami-ye Afghanestan. Why the Election Commission of
India and not the Election Commission of Pakistan? After all,
> Islamabad is closer to Kabul than is Delhi .

Imagine, 12 percent of all American scientists are of Indian origin;
38 percent of doctors in America are Indian; 36 percent of NASA
scientists are Indians; 34 percent of Microsoft employees are Indians;
and 28 percent of IBM employees are Indians.

For the record: Sabeer Bhatia created and founded Hotmail. Sun
Microsystems was founded by Vinod Khosla. The Intel Pentium processor,
that runs 90 percent of all computers, was fathered by Vinod Dham.

Rajiv Gupta co-invented Hewlett Packard's E-speak project. Four out of
ten Silicon Valley start-ups are run by Indians. Bollywood produce
800 movies per year and six Indian ladies have won Miss Universe/Miss World titles over the past 10 years.

For the record: Azim Premji, the richest Muslim entrepreneur on the
face of the planet, was born in Bombay and now lives in
Bangalore.India now has more than three dozen billionaires; Pakistan
has none (not a single dollar billionaire) .

The other amazing aspect is the rapid pace at which India is creating
wealth. In 2002, Dhirubhai Ambani, Mukesh and Anil Ambani's father,
left his two sons a fortune worth $2.8 billion. In 2007, their
combined wealth stood at $94 billion. On 29 October 2007, as a result
of the stock market rally and the appreciation of the Indian rupee,
Mukesh became the richest person in the world, with net worth climbing
to US$63.2 billion (Bill Gates, the richest American, stands at around
$56 billion).

Indians and Pakistanis have the same Y-chromosome haplogroup. We have
the same genetic sequence and the same genetic marker (namely: M124).
We have the same DNA molecule, the same DNA sequence. Our culture, our
traditions and our cuisine are all the same. We watch the same movies
and sing the same songs. What is it that Indians have and we don't?

INDIANS ELECT THEIR LEADERS

And also to mention: They think of Construction of own nation, unlike
nations who are just concerned with destruction of others...

The Litter Along The Rails Haunts Me !!

Reached New Delhi Station at 11:00 am . Found platform seven from the computerised sign board with some difficulty . The usual foul smell of the railway platform greeted me . Surprise ! Surprise ! there were few new denizens of the area who were bit shying away here and there . They were fat , unhealthy not old . The Rats !! it was a revolting site to the heaps of waste on the platform . But there was no escape now . We are all prisoners of the great Lalu - I MEAN THE RAILWAYS . The bookshop was also disappointing .

The train - Kerala Express - left on time . Shivaji Park , Tilak Bridge passed by . The continual heaps of garbage made the rail journey a kind of time travel through the dumping shitty grounds of India --My Mother India , The India of Shivaji & Tilaks .

The TT,"Sir" . "Oh ! Yes" . "Thank You" , I said .

The journey continued .

The factories & homes can be allotted adjoining areas of rails on a renewable lease . The authorities can earn quite a bit of money & save itself from this Herculean Task of cleaning up . Surely , do what you will. The west will keep giving a condescending smile till we are seen to be humans who like to live in a clean environment . The rag pickers perhaps can be consulted for help rather than the Health Dept. & Municipalities .

The other day I had to go to Noida from Faridabad via Jaitpur . It was another journey between nallahs of Delhi . The shame of all this was more apparent when I saw the vegetable vendors washing radish in the pitch dark polluted waters that appeared to fume and froth . But the damned waters could hardly scare its users . It is a shameful reflection on the Health Officers & all those responsible for this . This is my Delhi of <2008> 2009 gearing up for the 2010 SHOW . I think , We are the GREATEST PRETENDERS on this Earth !

The story continues after months of reading the article i don't see a change anywhere . You all might be thinking why he doesn't see so much , which is good in India . The garbage , The litter along the rails haunts .

Centuries of foreign rule has made us spineless --

Is our country - Mother India , India of Shivajis and Tilaks ready for the Common Wealth .This is just a phase which is not even covering the mind baffling Litter in India and not even the actual exact condt.of the railways .

There is much more to say but is anybody listening ??

Sultan Bahu .2.

Dudh , daheen te har koee rirhke ,

Tan chatoraa , man madhaanee

Dukh netraa kaddhe lishkaare ,

Naam faqueer tinhaan daa Baahoo ,

Every one churns fermented nilk to get butter
but a lover churns the fire of love in his heart
Propelled by his sighs the churning stick of the mind
rotates in the vessel of his body
The rope of pain turns the blades that reates sparks
as the water of grief is added to the cool contents
only someone who churns his bones
to produce the essebce
deserves to be called a faqir O BAHU

I paas my nights without a wink of sleep
in confusion i paas my days
only a man of god may know a man of god
what can a slave of mind and sense know of him
if you dont meditate on god you will repent
that your youth was spent on vailn pursuits
those who found their master i shah jilani
will gain ad,ittance to lords court

In the dark fathomless night of ignorance
love is a torch that brings light
From it emanates a melody
that enraptures lovers hearts
on the path of love are forests and oceans
anyone who cherishes love in his heart can cross them

Some of the Best Sultan Bahus creations .1.

Akheen surkh te mooheen zardee ,

Muhaa muhaar khushboi walaa ,

Ishq mushk na chuppe rehnde ,

Naam faqeer tinhaan daa Bahoo ,

Their eyes sleepless , their faces pale ,
lovers conatantly sigh in grief .
What has become of these faces
that once beamed with youth and vivacity ?
Love is like musk that cannot stay hidden :
its fragrance cannot but reveal its presence
Only those who abode in realms beyond space
deserve to be called "Faqir" O Bahu ....

You may or may bot wake up now , O Faqir
but you will wake up to reality in the end
Your heart will not awaken
by merely sittin with eyes closed -
it will awaken when you realise the goal .
When i attained my ultimate objective ,
I proclaimed it to the world .
But on my own I would have still been lost , O Bahu
were it not for my master showing me the way .

If God could be found by bathin in holy waters ,
frogs and fishes would find him
If God were realized by cutting odd your hairs ,
sheep and goats which are shorn for their wool ,
would realize him too.
If God were found through nightly vigils ,
bats and owls would find him .
God is realised by those O Bahu
who are pure of heart , noble of intent .

Your Remembrance , My Loneliness !

You never come
But your remembrance moves along with me .
Yesterday you were with me
But today my loneliness moves along with me .

I did not have any speciality
So that you could remember me .

I wish hearts voice could have that much power
The one who is being remembered gets to know .

Times , these beautiful moments
Might tomorrow doesn't feel the same as we do today.
Your sweet remembrance would always stay in my heart .

I still hear your voice
I still feel your touch in my dreams
Forgive me & my weaknesses ;
I don't know Why ???
Without you its hard to survive
I cant let you go .
I want you in my life ......

Photographs - The last Memory

I remember those days ,
We were always lost in the face ;

Faces of those friends & relatives ,
Relatives who lost all negatives .

Friends those who lost the touch ,
Once loved each other very much .

We today have the only last link ;
The photographs our last memory left in a sink ....

negatives = marked by the absence of qualities such as lack of links & love
towards each other all due to time & communication gap .

Is this a True Trait

Is this a true trait :
You think of someone
And stare the gate;
Is that true he'd come back straight ?

You think him
you feel him
Do you think is this the fate ?

A Confession !!

I've got a confession to make
I am no fool
Everyone got a chance to say
Including you
Then also I was told
"You are a darling baby just do not move."
Will you ever resist ,
If someone abuses you !
If everyone is getting The BEST ,
"THE BEST" But not only you
Have you ever met someone
With story like mine which is nothing new !!

The Thoughts

I never thought , my thoughts would be so deep ;
I never thought , the depth of sea also wont be that so deep .

Love makes a person so frustrated ,
Why love makes a person so desperated ?

If the goal of love would have been so easy to be achieved ,
Then the tears of heart would have been so easy to be noticed !

I never thought , my thoughts would be so deep ;
I never thought , the depth of sea also wont be that so deep . . .
